044 Enduro Tour on the Monte Sole Trail

Course: cable car San Martino al Monte – San Martino al Monte – trail Montesole – Laces

We start our tour at the cable car to San Martino al Monte (check the schedule to see when bike transportation is allowed). From the mountain terminal of the cable car we ride the first 1,2 km on the street to reach our first trail on the right side (trail no. 9, "Monte Sole Trail"). After the first section, we get to a forest road and to the "Ratschillhof" farm, which is worth a visit for its local specialties. What follows is one of the most beautiful trails of the Alps according to the Bike Magizin. Rocky sections, roots and narrow parts, make the trail so exciting as well as technically and physically demanding. Jumping ramps make the trail even more fun. We get to the plateau "Annaberger Böden", `where` we can ride on high speed while having the most fabulous view over the valley down to Merano. At the end of the trail we arrive in Coldrano-Tiss, `where` we ride through the apple orchards before returning on the cycle path back to Laces and the cable car of San Martino al Monte.
