Piri local weeks in may
May is all about our Piri local brand. A promise to our local producers, to our guests and also to ourselves. We are increasingly trying to source more and more products from our region and have managed to build up a network of local organic farmers who now cover the majority of our fruit and vegetable requirements. Promoting regional producers is very important to us, we are doing something good for the environment, supporting our locals and promising REAL quality. A very clear win-win situation, isn't it?
On our “Piri Local Weeks Program” during this time you will find, among other things:
- A guided tour of our partners' fields, including tastings
- Visits to regional vineyards and wineries
- Grappa tasting with Walter `from` the local Weberhof distillery
- Wine tasting of limited & regional wines with Hannes Piri directly at the hotel
- Apple tasting with apple sommelier and ambassador Anja directly at the hotel
- Bread baking course on a rustic farm in Val Martello
